Funny placement of text or text formatting is strange

For viewers using older browsers (particularly Netscape 4.7) the text in our site may not display as intended due to the use of Cascading Style Sheets. In most cases, upgrading your browser to the most current version and making sure the browser settings are set as suggested on this page will solve many of your font issues.

Text is too small or too large

If the text appears to be too small or too large on your monitor, you may want to want to adjust the viewing size in your browser.

To temporarily change the viewing size, go to the View menu item and look for something that says Make text bigger/smaller or Text Zoom. Then choose a size at which you want to view the text. This change will apply only until you quit your browser.

For a permanent change, open your browser preferences/settings/options and find the settings for appearance/fonts/display. Adjust the display font size up or down to suit your needs. Close the preferences. You may need to quit your browser and restart for the change to take effect.
