| Knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position: | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Proof of Valid Driver's License at time of hire; the successful candidate will be required to provide a copy of Its Social Security Card at the Time of Employment Knowledge of snow machines, prefer some knowledge of general maintenance. Skills in basic hand tools, driving trucks, painting, cleaning, camp maintenance tasks, basic fuel handing and clean-up procedures, dishwashing. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: sufficient to perform the responsibilities of the position and to have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Preferred remote field camp experience. WORK HOURS: To be arranged, 3 weeks on, one week off rotation with other FOAs. JOB DURATION: Full-time April 1, 2006 through September 15, 2006, possible work in October depending upon reservations. |

| Knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position: | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Proof of valid driver's license at time of hire; the successful candidate will be required to provide a copy of their social security card at the time of hire. Employment knowledge of food service sanitation and regulations, food preparation and food storage, meal planning, propane appliances. PREFERRED: Experience with vegetarian entrees skills in food preparation, baking, salads, food service sanitation, operation of kitchen equipment, following menus and recipes, dishwashing, basic inventory and record keeping, ability to work with a large number of researchers under time and pressure constraints of busy field season, lift cases of #10 cans and flour sacks, deal with a wide variety of personalities, work under adverse weather conditions, live at a remote field camp, willingness to be flexible and assume responsibility for tasks assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: sufficient to perform the responsibilities of the position and to have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Preferred Remote field camp experience.
