The antenna is mounted atop a secure mast above the Winter Lab building at Toolik Field Station, mile 284.5 Dalton Highway, Alaska. Neither the mast nor the building has a concrete foundation, resting instead on a compacted gravel pad. Small errors of unknown magnitude may result from subtle shifts and/or settling of the building and gravel pad, or from occasional strong winds.
