AUTOGIPSY is a public service administered by the Jet Propulsion Lab, NASA in Pasadena, CA. http://milhouse.jpl.nasa.gov/ag/ http://www.unavco.org/facility/software/processing/gipsy/auto_gipsy_info.html These data DO NOT conform to NGS CORS standards. http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/CORS/Site_selec_crit.html ====================================================== EQUIPMENT Base files were collected using a Trimble NetRS receiver with a dual frequency Zephyr Geodetic antenna. The antenna is mounted atop a secure mast above the Winter Lab building at Toolik Field Station, mile 284.5 Dalton Highway, Alaska. Neither the mast nor the building has a concrete foundation, resting instead on a compacted gravel pad. Small errors of unknown magnitude may result from subtle shifts and/or settling of the building and gravel pad, or from occasional strong winds. The mast is secured by three cable stays attached to the building corners and the mast is bolted at its base and part of its length to the building. ====================================================== SOFTWARE Base data are collected using Trimble NetRS v1.1-2 Files are produced as Trimble T00 files, then converted to .dat, .ssf and RINEX formats on a Linux (Fedora Core) box using a script provided by UNAVCO. ====================================================== FILES Base files are collected hourly (T00, DAT & SSF) and daily (T00 & RINEX) Hourly files contain 1 second observations and 1 minute positions Daily files contain 30 second observations and 5 minute positions Naming conventions: Note: all dates and times are in UTC (GMT) UTC = 8 hours ahead of Alaska Daylight Time, and 9 hours ahead of Alaska Standard Time File names are generated in the format "SystemNameYYYYMMDDHHmmS.ext" where: SystemName = "tool" YYYY = Year MM = Month DD = Day HHmm = Hour and Minute UTC S = session ID: ('d' for hourly files, 'r' for daily files) .ext = .T00, .DAT, .SSF ====================================================== CONTACT Any questions or problems should be addressed to: Andrew W.
