Arctic Perspective Film Collective

Eye with Arctic

Hello Artists of the Arctic!

We are film students and faculty at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. We are interested in sharing with the world a unique vision of the Arctic as can only be known by those of us who live here. We would like to invite you to participate in this unique collaborative filmmaking adventure!

We are putting together a short film to represent an Arctic perspective. This is an attempt to show Arctic communities and landscapes across the world. We picture a project that includes a shot from various locations around the Arctic. We are requesting your creative contributions including:

  1. photographic  or video panoramics (360°) that represent your area of the Arctic.
  2. video clip (in your language) of what the Arctic means to you along with challenges the Arctic faces in your region, Please attach an English translation for your video.
  3. any original music that we can use royalty free.
We will be accepting submissions until November 13th, 2015.

Thank you for your participation, and if you have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to contact us - arcticfilm@alaska.edu

Make your contribution seen and heard.
