Anatoly Antohin, (ffaga@uaf.edu)
playwright and stage director, staged
many shows at UAF.
He received his MFA from Moscow Institute of Cinematography. Anatoly has
won several awards in drama and his plays have been produced in many
European countries. In the USA, he has taught and directed at the
University of Connecticut, New York University, and Hollins College in
Virginia.

Carrie Baker (ffccb@uaf.edu) is an actor recently based in New York City and is a member of Actor's Equity Association and Screen Actor's Guild. Her recent New York stage credits include: Clytemnestra in Agamemnon (New Age Classics), Susan in Lemon Meringue Facade and Wanda in Mergers and Acquisitions (New Perspectives Theatre Company), Jackie in Girls' Night Out (Festival of New Works: NYU), and Dorotea in The Prince (Manhattan Theatre Source). Regional credits include: Emilia in Othello, Portia in Julius Caesar , Silvia in The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Utah Shakespearean Festival); Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Little Theatre); Kate in Sylvia (Summer Repertory Theatre); Lucentio in Taming of the Shrew (Washington Shakespeare Company); Gail in Cigarettes and Chocolate , Supporta in Scenes from an Execution (Potomac Theatre Project); Princess Betsy in Anna Karenina (Washington Stage Guild). TV and film credits include: Guiding Light and Housemates.
Carrie has taught acting at Middlebury College, the University of California-Irvine, Utah Shakespearean Festival's Camp Shakespeare, Washington Shakespeare Company, Laguna Beach High School, the Bethesda Academy of the Performing Arts, and the Northfield Mount Hermon School. Carrie holds a B.A. in Theatre and English from Middlebury College (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude) and an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of California, Irvine (Arts Bridge Scholar).

Kade Mendelowitz www.TheatricalDesign.com/kade, (Kade@alaska.edu) - Lighting Designer
, Technical Director, Professor, Theatre UAF.
Originally from New York,
Kade has served as lighting supervisor for The Acting Company's national tour of
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" and has taught at Smith College in Massachusetts.
An award-winning lighting designer, Kade has designed numerous productions for the stage, television news, dance,
and the
United States Olympic Ice Sculptures trials. He teaches courses in Lighting and
Technical Theatre. Hobbies include photography and multimedia
presentations - he is the owner of Multimakers Multimedia design company.
Kade has completed the second version of his multimedia CD / textbook replacement: Theatrical Lighting Design Interactive which is on sale internationally.
He was honored to receive a 2004 Aurora Award: Platinum Best of Show 2004: Entertainment for his interactive sci-fi DVD adventure Water Stealers.
In 2004 he won the distinguished Usibelli Award for Service - UAF's highest honor.

Maya Salganek (Maya@alaska.edu) Assistant Professor, Digital Performance Media. Maya has been involved with the UAF theatre department since 2001. Having recently completed her MA in Anthropology with a thesis film project, she is currently teaching "Let's Make a Movie" and completing video projects for a number of UAF departments and State agencies. She was recently co-producer for the independent feature film, Chronic Town, to be released by Grey Jumper Productions in 2008. |
