To find us from off-campus:
From the intersection of University Avenue and College Rd, follow Alumni Dr.
Take the first right on to S. Chandalar
Take the second right on to Salcha St.
Find visitor parking (with parking meters)
Gruening is behind Eielson/Signers' Hall

PARKING

NOTE: Visitor (metered) parking is considered short term parking and has a two-hour time limit. If you plan to take a test and need more than two hours, follow the instructions below.

Parking on campus to take a test if you are not a current student, staff or faculty member:

You will need to purchase a parking pass from one of two Parking Kiosks located on either entrance to campus. Parking permits can be purchased with coins, bills or a credit card. These parking permits work just like a UAF decal and allow parking in UAF decal required lots throughout campus with access to electric plugins, with the exception of Gold Decal lots.

From University Avenue or from Geist Road:

The Farmer's Loop entrance is just beyond where University Ave. and College Rd. intersect. Look for signs that say Visitor Parking. Purchase a parking permit from the UAF Parking Permit Kiosk and follow the placement directions. Take either Blue shuttle to Wood Center. Walk from there through the Wood Center, accross the quad and into the Gruening Building.  Go down to the second floor and look for Room 207B.

The Geist Rd. entrance is where Thompson Dr. intersects with Geist Rd. When you reach the roundabout off Thompson Dr., turn right on Tanana Loop Rd.; in the very next lot to your right, look for signs that say Visitor's Parking. Purchase a parking permit from the UAF Parking Permit Kiosk and follow the placement directions. Take either the Green or Gold shuttle to Eielson/Signer's Hall .  Walk from there through the Eielson Building into the Gruening Building.  Go down to the second floor and look for Room 207B.
