Bring your glass to class: recycling program to start on campus

Glass bottles are already piling up in the form of frozen pyramids on back porches and rows of them line cardboard boxes by the dozens, all in anticipation of a new program that aims at stopping tons of glass from ending up in the landfill. If those loyal collectors are successful in tapping the legendary Alaska packrat mentality, there's a chance that glass recycling might be coming to Fairbanks for good.
