Under the Influence
A Fairbanks man was arrested for 2 counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor. Jeremy Snyder, 26, was found in MacLean House with two minors, who were cited for minor consuming. Snyder was also charged with assault for threatening the arresting officer.
An intoxicated female from Stevens Hall was taken into protective custody Nov. 3.
Another drunk female in Stevens Hall was taken into protective custody on Nov. 3. She was three months pregnant. She was referred to the Office of Children’s Services. It was determined that her case did not match up with the definition of assault against an unborn child, so her case was not forwarded to the District Attorney.
During a traffic stop for an equipment violation on Nov. 4, the driver Robert W. Geoffroy, 26, of Fairbanks was thought to be driving under the influence. He was later arrested after registering a .084 BrAC. A passenger was cited for minor consuming.
A Fairbanks man was arrested after producing the pipe he and 4 passengers used to smoke marijuana on Nov. 7. Joshua Witcher, 18, of Fairbanks was initially stopped for an equipment violation. The passengers were on duty at 3:15 a.m. and released to their supervisor.
The people may be disorderly
Vandalism to a parked vehicle in the Upper Moore Lot was reported Nov. 3.
A woman was trespassed from campus for seeming suspicious while attempting to beg cigarettes in the Wood Center on Nov. 3.
Two MACS passengers were checked out by EMS, and sent home via cab after being found passed out on the bus Nov. 6.
But the cops are not
An officer is investigating a Nov. 4 report from Hess Village of phone calls accompanied by silence several times in the course of the week.
