Washington dominated
in the second game taking
the win 30-12 with the
Nanooks unable to find
an answer to anything the
Vikings were throwing at
them, and only managing
a -.031 hitting percentage
with seven kills in 32 attempts.
Viking servers Angie
Alvord, Marissa Hill and
Katie Robinson managed
to accumulate three aces
each in the second game.
After the break the Nanooks
came out and played
their best game yet keeping
the score close until the
very end where the Vikings
pulled it out to take the
win 30-24.
Despite their loss several
players still had great
games. Senior Jessica King
lead the team in kills collecting
eight total, five of
which came during the
close battle of the third
game. Megan Thigpen had
seven kills on the night,
and Erica Gage and Korlyn
Bolster had six.
With their loss to Western

the season. They drop to
9-10 overall and to 3-8 in
the conference while Washington
improves to 14-4 on
the season and 10-1 in the
conference.
The Vikings were lead by

who is the GNAC’s all time
career digs leader, and had

their outside hitter Emily
Castro who had 11 kills on
