LOST AND FOUND

A wallet with a Polar Express card was found at Fred Meyer on Wednesday and returned to the UAF Police Department, which returned it to the owner.

A community service officer found a small sum of money during his rounds on March 22 in the Natural Science Building. The money was booked into the property room.

A backpack was reported stolen from the Wood Center on April 3 and was not recovered.

VANDALISM

A rear window was reported broken out of a parked pickup truck in the Haida parking lot on Wednesday.

The UAF Police Department speed cart was vandalized on Thursday. Someone broke the taillight and the rear fender was struck.

The KUAC transmitter site's locks were cut and the site was reported broken into on April 2, but nothing was stolen. Someone broke into it again on Thursday.

TRAFFIC STOPS

Police stopped a vehicle that didn't dim its high beams on Friday around 2:30 a.m. Police found marijuana on the driver, Judd Mosier, 23, of Fairbanks, records say. He was cited and released.

Police stopped a speeding vehicle on April 2. Marijuana was found on the driver. Matthew Fantazzi, 20, of Fairbanks, was cited and released.

There was a traffic stop on a vehicle for equipment violations on April 3. The driver was found to have a revoked license. Andrew Cassel, 38, was arrested and taken to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

A traffic stop was performed on a vehicle for multiple equipment violations on April 1 on College Road. The driver was driving intoxicated under the legal drinking age, police said. Brandon Brown, 20, of Fairbanks, and another passenger were cited and released for minor consuming.

HARASSMENT

A man who was harassing others at the Pub was trespassed on April 2.

An intoxicated man was reported yelling at people in the Rasmuson Library on April 1. Police took the man into protective custody.

INDICTED

Erik Shroeder, 26, of Fairbanks, was indicted on April 2 on charges of a parole violation. Miscellaneous paraphernalia items were found on him and in his vehicle on Nov. 17. Schroeder was indicted for one count of third degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and three counts of fourth degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
