CAR TROUBLE
An officer stopped a vehicle on Tanana Loop on Nov. 3 for displaying seasonal tags, police said. Frank Toth, 55, was charged with misuse of plates and released.
Police stopped a vehicle on Kuskokwim Drive on Nov. 4 after 2 a.m. Irene Gallahorn, 18, didn't have a valid driver's license, police said. She was cited. Police then called Madeline Gallahorn, 29, to the scene to pick up the vehicle, which was hers. Police then cited her for allowing an unauthorized person to drive.
Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident in Nenana Parking Lot on Nov. 5 just before 3 p.m.
Police pulled over a vehicle on Tanana Loop on Nov. 6 around 10:15 a.m. for an equipment violation. Craig Huffman, 20, was driving with a revoked license, police said. He was cited and released.
SNEAKING AROUND
A door alarm sounded in Moore Hall on Nov. 4 at about 5:40 a.m. The responding officer discovered someone had propped open the door. Fresh footprints were in the area, police said. Surveillance video led to the identification of two people, both residents, one of whom admitted to entering the area, looking around, and leaving, police said.
Because no damage was caused, police referred the matter to Residence Life for disciplinary action, police said.
MINOR CONSUMPTION
Police received a 911 report of a physical assault in Lathrop Hall on Nov. 7 around 2:30 a.m.
The responding officer found no assault had occurred, but discovered that Carmaleeda Estrada, 21, had supplied alcohol to a minor, police said. Estrada was charged with supplying alcohol to a minor.
DRUGS
Crime lab test results confirmed Friday that Michael Knowles, 20, had methamphetamines with him when he was arrested in August for misconduct involving a controlled substance, police said.
MARIJUANA
Police received a report Friday after midnight of the smell of burnt marijuana wafting out of a room in MacLean House, police said.
An officer contacted the resident and found some drug paraphernalia, police said. Residence Life has since taken over the matter.
THEFT
Someone at the Student Recreation Center reported the theft of an X-Box game that had been hooked up to a TV in the lounge Wednesday around 9 p.m., police said.
Police received a report of stolen tools from the Irving Building on Thursday.
