OFFICER SMELLS

An officer smelled alcohol while talking to a driver who was parked in the Eielson Lot April 8. The driver, Patrick J. Smith , 19, of North Pole, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He later registered a breath alcohol content of .120 and was cited for minor operating after consuming.

'TAXI!'

A pedestrian on Aurora Drive flagged an officer down April 9 around 3 a.m. The boy turned out to be a missing juvenile and was turned over to his father.

ELECTRONICS ENTHUSIASTS

Two iPods and a digital camera were reported stolen from a dorm room in Lathrop on April 9.

Police received a report of "computer tampering" at the Bethel campus April 10.

LONG ARM O' THE LAW

April 11 at 7:32 p.m.

An officer "checked" an occupied vehicle near West Ridge on April 11 and discovered Jolene D. Williams, 20, of Akiak. Williams had a warrant out. She was arrested and taken to jail.

A warrant was served to Rhonda M. Korth, 20, of Ft. Yukon who was arrested at Skarland on April 12 and taken to jail.
