DANG KIDS

Police received a report April 3 of stolen roadsigns left behind a residence on North Chandalar. The signs were picked up and returned to the company that they belong to.

CRIME OF THE CENTURY

A digital camera was reported stolen April 3 from a locked office in Eielson. An investigation is continuing.

FUN KIDS GAMES

A juvenile was reported to have punched another juvenile in the stomach April 3 in the Duckering building. Parents of both parties were contacted and no criminal charges are being considered, but the case has been referred to UAF administration for follow-up.

JIBBER CAUGHT

Police received report of a snowboarder April 3 who broke a streetlight on the Facilities Services hill. Officers made contact with the snowboarder, who agreed to pay damages and stop snowboarding in the area.

SPRING IN THE AIR

Report of a vehicle sprayed with gravel April 4 by another vehicle near the Natural Science building.

BAD TIMING

Friday, April 7 at 2:24 a.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Geist Road. The driver, Aidrianna J. Aikins, 20 years and 11 months old, of Fairbanks, was found to be driving under the influence. She was also caught 26 days short of being able to consume alcohol legally. Aikins later registered a .113 and was charged with a DUI, Minor Operating After Consuming and Habitual Minor Consuming.
