On Saturday night, against No. 15 Central Washington, the team honored its three seniors, Blandford, Crystal Wheelock and Kayleen Stenehjem, before the game began: "We're playing one of the best teams in the nation, who are getting ready for play-offs," said UAF Coach Phil Shoemaker before the game. "We want to help them get ready for play-offs by giving them the best match we possibly can." The Nanooks lost the series in three games, with scores of 19-30, 17-30, and 22-30. Three Nanooks were led by Blandford and King, with seven kills apiece, and Jones and Korlyn Bolster, with five each.
