TROOPER TROUBLE

The Alaska State Troopers reported the possibility of a UAF employee involved in a criminal case around 2 a.m. Nov. 11.

ODIFEROUS

A small amount of marijuana was confiscated from Skarland Hall after it was smelled from outside the room around 3:30 p.m. Nov. 9.

DROPPING THE GLOVES

A fight between two contract workers at the Museum was reported around 9 p.m. Nov. 6. The fight was over by the time officers arrived.

SOFT GLASS

A student broke the interior pane of a window in Lathrop Hall by falling into it around 2 a.m. Nov. 8. The student will be charged for the damage.

DOWN FOR THE COUNT

After refusing assistance, an intoxicated man fell down a hill by the Butrovich building and was taken to jail around midnight Nov. 6.

OUT OF LUCK

After being pulled over for a stop sign violation, a vehicle was impounded expired registration and no insurance on Sheep Creek Nov. 6 around 3 a.m.

DD MIA

After being pulled over for suspected drunk driving on Alumni Drive Nov. 4, Jennifer J. Kapla, 35, registered a .167 breath alcohol content and was arrested.

POLAR EXPEDITION

Narcotics were found in a vehicle during a K9 drug sniff at the Refinery Lounge around 1 a.m. Nov. 5.

STOLEN

A truck was broken into and a console CD player was stolen at the upper dorms Nov. 5.

A purse was found in Brooks Building Nov. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

A laptop, camera and a pair of earrings were stolen from Bartlett Hall Nov. 8. The laptop was later returned.

COLLISIONS

A motor vehicle accident was reported at the Cutler Apartments Nov. 6.

A car ran into a light pole on the Thompson Drive roundabout around 1 p.m. Nov. 7.

A hit and run was reported at the plaza lot on Nov. 7 around 1:30 p.m.
