It is each student's responsibility to make sure they have completed their financial aid paperwork correctly. It was Robinson Duffy's responsibility to make sure that the forms he submitted were correct, and not missing anything. UAOnline is set up to make it easier for students to monitor their records, review their transcripts, and check on the status of their financial aid. I'm sure the Financial Aid office did attempt to contact Mr. Duffy. He does let us know they did put the notice on his UAOnline account. But whether or not they contact him, it was his responsibility to have done it right in the first place. I hope Mr. Duffy does a better job filling out his future job applications. Employers are not very helpful in contacting applicants that can't fill out an application right.
