CRUISIN’ FOR A BRUISIN’

An officer on foot observed a speeding vehicle driving recklessly through campus Feb. 12. Getting into a patrol vehicle, the officer caught up with the driver on College Road after her vehicle had struck a light pole. Jaime L. Generous, 19, was found to be driving under the influence with a breath alcohol content of .136. She was arrested and taken to jail.

EXPELLED

A man sleeping on a couch at Skarland Hall was asked by police to leave around 3:30 a.m. Feb. 17. He at first lied about his name, but it was discovered that he had recently been kicked out of a homeless shelter. He and another man who walked up during the encounter were both issued trespass warnings from campus.

WHEN HOOKIE MEETS NOOKIE

Police received a report of two juveniles hiding in the Wood Center women's showers Feb. 14. Officers found a boy and girl who were skipping school. They were issued trespass warnings from UAF.

THE PRE-PARTY

Police contacted an individual slumped over at the municipal bus stop Feb. 15. Arthur L. Mayo was found intoxicated, one day before his 35th birthday, and therefore violating conditions of his parole. He was arrested.

CAUSIN’ A SCENE WITH A MAGAZINE

A magazine solicitor was hostile toward potential customers at Stuart Hall Feb. 17. The solicitor, who was in violation of UAF policy, was issued a trespass from campus.

CRANK YANKERS

An officer assisted in the dismantling of a methamphetamine lab at the Aspen Hotel Feb. 15.

ASSAULT ADVICE

UAF Police assisted a student Feb. 13 with information regarding a sexual assault that occurred off campus. She was directed to report it to the Fairbanks Police Department.

GETTING VERBAL ON YOUR ASS

After previous incidents involving verbal assault, an individual at the Tanana Valley Campus was issued a trespass Feb. 11.

ODDS AND ENDS

A smoke detector was removed at Skarland Hall Feb. 12, setting off an alarm. Residence Life staff will handle the incident.

A vehicle at McIntosh was impounded Feb. 13 for parking in a fire lane.

A car with seasonal tags was stopped Feb. 11 on Fairbanks Street. The driver was cited and released.

An individual was trespassed from the Tanana Valley Campus for loitering Feb. 11.

A minor motor vehicle accident on Koyukuk Street was reported Feb. 11.

A past motor vehicle accident at the Old University Park was reported Feb. 17.
