Editorial: So long Nate |

This
has been an incredible semester for me at the Sun Star.
Most of the credit for that fact lies firmly with my fabulous staff.
I have the hardest working, most dedicated staff on the planet.
They sacrifice their time, their sleep, and even their sanity to put out
the best paper they can each and every week. I'm sad
to say that one of my best writers is leaving us.
Nate Raymond is going on to bigger and better things (of course that's
just a figure of speech, what could possibly be better than the Sun Star). Nate is
going on exchange for a semester in Connecticut.
Yeah, that's right, Connecticut. What
the heck is in Connecticut? I tried
to talk him out of it, but it's no use, he's set on going. Don't
tell him I said so, but Nate is one of the best reporters I have ever met.
He is committed and excited about his work.
And I know that he'll succeed in whatever he puts his mind to. It's
going to be very hard to replace him; he's leaving a large whole here in the
office. But all of us here at the
Sun Star wish him the best of luck in all he does. We'll
miss you bud. |
