Police Blotter

UNDERGROUND CHEMIST

Various chemicals and personal items were discovered in a secure utilidor at the Elvey Building Nov. 15. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

 

INSATIABLE INEBRIATE

Police arrested a man begging for food from people at the Wood Center Nov. 16. Alvin R. Johnson, 39, was contacted by police and found to be drunk and disorderly. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and violating a previous trespass order.

 

ATTACK OF THE MUNCHIES

A possible theft from a locked refrigerator at the Arctic Health Building was reported around 4:30 a.m. Nov. 17. Upon further investigation, police discovered that a custodian had taken a food item. Due to the small cost of the item, disciplinary actions were left to the private custodial firm.

 

IN AND OUT

An unknown male reportedly entered an apartment at the MacLean House Nov. 14. He departed immediately after entering.

 

A BUST

A vehicle was vandalized in the Upper Dorms parking lot Nov. 12. A window was broken and components within the dashboard appeared to have been removed.

 

BACK DAT DATA UP

A complainant at the Gruening Building reported missing data from a computer hard drive Nov. 12. The complainant was not sure if the incident was criminal in nature, but wanted to report it just in case.

 

OVERDUDE

A laptop computer and a digital camera were possibly stolen from the library Nov. 17. The items were signed out and not returned when due.

 

CALL FOR HELP

A distraught individual brought police to Moore Hall just before midnight Nov. 16. The incident was referred to the Center for Health and Counseling.

 

ODDS AND ENDS

Numerous harassing phone calls were received at Bartlett Hall Nov. 18.

 

A minor motor vehicle accident was reported Nov. 18 near the Eielson Building.

 

A cell phone was lost on campus Nov. 16.
