Dear Sun Star Editor,

I read the Anchorage Sunday paper on April 18 and what did I find? They, like everyone else in this state, are getting their news from the Sun Star. They ran a story about the end of the Bob and Mark (radio) Show which began "According to the UAF SunStar…" Once again your team is setting the standard for Alaskan journalism. Also, many congratulations for all of the awards received by you and your staff. The SunStar has its critics, but the ones handing out awards found favor with your efforts. The SunStar received five awards this year for a variety of stories and photographs from the Alaska Press Club. It is good to know that the journalism community recognizes its "up and coming" leaders. Congrats to you all on a fine precedent-setting year.
