To the Editor,

Often in life we only hear criticism; "No news is good news".  What a terrible philosophy!  What a horrible style of leadership! It is in that vein that I would like to extend my deepest thanks to your paper for taking the time to publish a critical review of the recent "Winter Shorts" produced by the UAF Student Drama Association.  Over 20 students worked for many hours to choose, cast, direct, design, build and perform two comedies perfect for this college campus!

The shows, like most productions, were not perfect and your reviewer pointed that out; and that is exactly how it should be.  A critical analysis of what transpired.  Thank you for supplying your fellow students with intelligently written feedback, and for many, a "portfolio piece".  Your article will be included in many student portfolio files possibly for years after they graduate.
