Kamchatka is without exaggeration one of the most spectacular regions in Russia, boasting more than 160 volcanoes that help define the Great Pacific “ring of fire”. Volcanoes, cyclones, and underground heat have created a mixture of twenty climate zones. Here you will find a great variety of flora and fauna in addition to the numerous volcanic calderas, stone sculpture “parks”, pristine crater lakes, geysers, and mineral springs.
