RAISING GREAT KIDS Who Can Handle Real World Challenges Without Breaking A Sweat
Jedd Hafer - Love and Logic Institute
Monday, August 15 at 7 p.m.
in Davis Concert Hall. Free.
This is an evening for parents, grandparents and anyone with children in their lives to explore the basic parenting concepts of the Love and Logic Institute. Jedd Hafer, Development Director for Axios Youth Community in Colorado and parent of four children, speaks from experience and practice. Hear easy-to-learn strategies for parenting that can help children of all ages solve their own problems, make wise decisions and resist peer pressure, as well as putting an end to backtalk, arguing and power struggles. In earlier days, Jedd toured as a professional comic, so be prepared for a presentation of enthusiasm and humor.
Brought to you by Summer Sessions & Lifelong Learning, UAF Center for Distance Education and Independent Learning, Fairbanks Resource Agency and Open Arms Lutheran Child Development Center.
