Summer Graduate Student Financial Aid

Summer Sessions & Lifelong Learning (SSLL) offers a limited number of tuition awards for continuing UAF graduate students. Qualifying students may receive a tuition award for one credit of a 600-level or a 400-level Summer Sessions course that directly applies to the student's degree. Students must be eligible for financial aid and be in good standing with the UAF Graduate School. Awards will be distributed to eligible applicants, in the order that applications are received, until the funds are exhausted. The application form will be available on this website when summer registration opens.

The SSLL Graduate Tuition Award may only be used for a course sponsored by SSLL that directly applies to the student’s degree. It cannot be used for research or thesis credits, individual or directed studies or for courses sponsored by eLearning & Distance Education. Contact SSLL or the Graduate School if you have any questions about eligible courses. Students receiving other tuition support such as VA Benefits, UA Employee Tuition Waiver, or UA Scholars are not eligible for the Summer Sessions Tuition Award.
