Whad'Ya Know?
Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?
LIVE in the Davis Concert Hall
7 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2009
Join the “Whad’Ya Know?” show crew for another evening of live entertainment right here on the UAF Campus. The “Whad’Ya Know?” show came to Fairbanks in the summer of 2006 and played to a sold-out crowd of enthusiastic Alaskans. Get your tickets early to see the fun firsthand!
The two-hour show is a mix of monologue, quiz show, an offbeat interview or hotline call-in, banter with Jim Packard, and audience participation. And there’s jazz with John Thulin (piano), Jeff Hammann (bass) and Clyde Stubblefield (trap set). It’s spontaneous, unscripted entertainment at its best.
Former English teacher and cabbie Michael Feldman began “Whad’Ya Know?” in 1985 with Wisconsin Public Radio. The show immediately attracted critical acclaim and a loyal following from coast to coast. Determined to make use of his English degree, Feldman is the author of several “highly praised and widely ignored” books, including Whad’Ya Know (1991), Whad’Ya Knowledge (1993), Something I Said? Innuendo and Out the Other (2004), and Glad You Asked (2004). Come and be part of the FUN!
Tickets: $30 (in advance), $28 Students Military and Seniors. $35 at the door (no discounted tickets at the door).
Tickets are available with cash or check at The Artworks, New Horizons, and Wood Center. You can purchase tickets with credit card payment through the Summer Sessions office (Eielson 216). Call 474-7021 with credit card information.
