Registration is Open!

Current UA Students

Current UA students may register at UAOnline for Summer Sessions classes.

Degree-seeking students do not need an academic advisor’s signature to register for Summer Sessions courses.

Prerequisites apply for summer courses.   If you do not meet prerequisites, you will need to contact the instructor for permission to register.

See Dates and Deadlines for open registration periods and payment due dates.

  1. Log on to UAOnline . Go to Student Services and Account Information and select Registration.
  2. Look up courses to add . If you need to find a course to add, select Look-up Classes to Add/Class Schedule Search. To assist your search, be sure to select UAF-Main Campus in the Campus field and select the subject.
  3. Review your schedule. After selecting Submit Changes, your current schedule will appear. If there are any errors, check the error message and then select Submit Changes to remove the error. NOTE: If you select "Error," you will find an explanation of the type of error that has occurred.
  4. Complete your schedule. When your schedule is complete, select Complete Registration Changes to tally your tuition and fees. Then select Student Detail Schedule to see the times and classrooms for your classes in a weekly schedule format.
  5. Order books. Select UAF Order Books to order your textbooks.
  6. Variable Credit Class/Auditing a Class. If you register for a course that has variable credit or you want to audit a course, select Change Class Options. Enter the amount of credit you want. Press the Grade Mode menu and highlight "Audit" to select that option. The audit option may not be available at UAOnline because not all courses allow auditors. Contact the instructor or the department for more information.
  7. Attend classes beginning the first day of instruction.
Pay tuition and fees. Payment for ALL summer courses that you are currently registered for is due within the payment period for your first scheduled class. See the Dates and Deadlines chart. Graduate students with graduate fellowships or assistantships must still go through the fee payment process.
