Nanook Basketball Academy
Co-ed Fundamental Camp
June 2–5
This camp is for grades 3–8 and is designed to teach the fundamentals. All players receive instruction on shooting, passing, defending, rebounding, and lay ups. Skills are taught using drills and a variety of fun games. Position Play Camp, June 6–8. This camp for boys grades 8-12 is designed to present advanced skills and take the serious players to the next level.
Team Camp
June 9–14
This camp is for boys grades 8-12 to help improve team skills in game situations. Contact Coach Johnson prior to the camp if you do not have a team to play with.

Alaska Girls Basketball Academy
Skills & Drills Camp (Girls Grades 9–12)
June 15–18
Girls in grades 9–12 will be challenged to improve their basketball fundamentals which will help them compete at the next level. Campers will be taught by current college players and coaches.
Team Camp (Girls JV & Varsity teams)
June 19–22
Team Camp is a great opportunity for high school coaches to bring their teams together over the summer and work on game situations. Team Camp offers a highly competitive environment with leagues divided up according to level of play.

Little Nook Camp
June 22–26
This coed youth camp for students in grades 3–8 is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of basketball with emphasis on skill development through clinic and station work. Beginner Skills Camp
July 7–9
This is the place to start! A terrific three day (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) experience to introduce a solid foundation of the fundamental skills of the game. Recommended for girls and boys with one year or less of organized training. Lots of drills and games to develop individual skill proficiency and confidence which leads to success in the team game. A good introduction to our Intermediate Skills Camp. Each camper will receive a Alaska Volleyball t-shirt. Camp fee is $160 if registered on or before May 16. $185 after May 16.
Intermediate Skills Camp
July 15 –18
An exciting, fast paced, four day camp (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) for girls and boys focusing on the FUNdamental skills required for volleyball success. Lots of drills, games, contests, and prizes provide for a fun, cooperative and success oriented atmosphere. Perfect for girls and boys with at least one or more years of organized volleyball training! Each camper will receive a Alaska Volleyball t-shirt. Camp fee is $175 if registered on or before May 16. $200 after May 16th.
Advanced Skills Camp
July 21–24
A challenging four day (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) volleyball training experience for players who are ready to compete at the high school varsity and junior varsity level. The development of solid technical and tactical skills will be emphasized. Games, contests, and prizes offer a friendly competitive atmosphere. Each camper will receive a Alaska Volleyball t-shirt. Camp fee is $175 if registered on or before May 16. $200 after May 16.

UAF Summer Recreational Camp
July 7–August 15
A wide variety of traditional and unique sport and recreational activities are offered at the Student Recreational Center . This is a camp where CAMPERS decide their schedule for the week and participate in hour long activities. Activities include archery, basketball, badminton, bowling, climbing wall, flag football, floor hockey, lacrosse, new games, parachute games, riflery, racquetball, soccer, swimming, softball, tennis, table tennis, ultimate frisbee®, volleyball and more. Campers with the help of staff decide their schedule for the week and participate in hourlong activities. Children ages 5–17 are divided into co-ed groups according to age. Summer camp is sponsored by the UAF Athletics and Recreation Department.
