High School Students

Take college classes… while still in high school!
Here's how:
Secondary students are encouraged to attend Summer Sessions. It is an excellent way to begin a college career. This summer there are over 300 courses available and high school students are eligible to take lower division classes with permission of the instructor. To register, complete the Secondary School Student Enrollment Form . Forms are also available from Summer Sessions, and the Office of the Registrar
For more information contact the Office of the Registrar at (907) 474-6300 or Summer Sessions at (907) 474-7021.
Dual Enrollment for Fairbanks North Star Borough School District Students
It may be possible for FNSB high school students to use University of Alaska Fairbanks course credits toward high school graduation. An Outside Credit Request Form is available at high school counseling offices. The approval for outside credit is given on a course-by-course basis and does not require admission to the university.
This process must be completed with the school district PRIOR to starting the university course. See your high school counselor for additional information.
