Updates to the database for spring 2015 are due Friday, February 13th by 5pm

Recognition for all returning clubs is due by Friday, February 13th by 5pm. If you are a new/forming organization please contact the LIVE Office located in Wood Center. 

We've broken the Student Organizations Registration Process down into easy steps:

1) Update your organization's student organizations database entry 

2) Complete an Account Signers Form. (only required once a year)

*All account signers must complete the Account Signers Quiz before privileges are active. 

3) Have at least one officer of your student organization attend an officer training.

HERE are a few tips and tricks to consider when participating in the Student Org Fair! We host one every semester and it could be a great opportunity for recruitment and networking!

If you can't log in to the database contact the Student Organizations office to be added as a user for your organizations--send your UA username (same as your UA email address) to:

2015 Student Organization Officer Training

UAF Student Organizations are required to send at least one officer to an officer training once per semester. Organizations are strongly encouraged to send a member who has not previously attended a training.

Organizations are welcome to bring more than one officer. Information presented will be the same at all trainings. Training will last approximately one hour.

Sessions will be offered:

Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday February 10th - 12th, at 7pm in the Wood Center conference room C/D

Friday, February 13th at 2pm in Wood Center conference room E/F

& Saturday, February 14th at 2pm in Gruening 208.


2015 Student Organization Sledding Competition

Do you like building things/recycling materials? Do you belong to a student organization on campus? Do you want to partake in the GREATEST competition to ever exist during Winter Carnival? 
If you said yes to any of the above then you will want to register for the first inagural Student Organization Sledding Competition! Sleds will be constructed entirely out of cardboard, trashbags, and duct tape so let those creative juices flow! The LIVE offive will host multiple workshops but sleds can also be constructed independently. Sleds must adhere to the rules and all teams MUST register by clicking the photo below.

Spring 2015 ASUAF Club Funding Application


In order to qualify for ASUAF funding one member of the club must have attended one of the offered officer trainings. The database and account signers form must be up to date for the spring 2015 semester. If an account signers form was turned in last fall and no officers changes have occured the form is still valid.

ASUAF funding will close February 16th at 5:00 PM. Any submissions after will not recieve funding. Only one club per applicant and only one submission per club.

The form will require a UA log in. If you have any problems logging please try a different browser or incognito window if operating google chrome.

This spring UAF LIVE has teamed with The Nanook Traditions Board to make the student organizations fair part of Winter Carnival! The spring fair is one day only, Thursday, February 19th from 10am - 3pm. 

During the fair LIVE will be hosting a sled building workshop for our inaugural Student Organizations Sledding Competition!

2. The student organizations must turn in one, complete account signers form
