The UAF Speaking Center can help you! Come visit us to get coaching on refining your presentation topic and organizing your presentation effectively. Most importantly, come see us to practice your presentation and get immediate, constructive suggestions from a Speaking Center coach.

Located in the Department of Communication on the fifth floor of the Gruening building.
Policies
· Speaking Center rooms are strictly for presentation practice. The rooms cannot be used for quiet study, research, or writing of the presentation.
· Individuals may sign up for a single 30 minute block. Students presenting group presentations may sign up for 60 minutes.
· No food or drinks are permitted in the Speaking Center.
· Rooms should be left as found (i.e., personal items removed).
· Recording equipment and computers are operated by Department of Communication teaching assistants, staff, and faculty only.
· To protect confidentiality, the Department will not keep recordings of student presentations. A copy of a recording may be emailed to the student for their records.
