Active and Innovative Minds

Active & Innovative Minds (AIM) is a cross disciplinary student organization based in the UAF School of Management. AIM consists of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. It believes that the practice of innovation and entrepreneurship brings out skills within students to compete in a global environment and lead to a more prosperous society.

Purpose

The purpose of AIM is to foster the awareness of innovation and creativity in current and future generations throughout UAF and the surrounding communities. AIM will further the knowledge, spirit, and passion of innovators and entrepreneurs while providing resources for educational, social, networking, teaching, and researching events where innovative and entrepreneurial skills can be applied. AIM nurtures, inspires, and supports the creation of new venture opportunities, whether in an existing firm or the launch of a new firm.
