NASW-Alaska Chapter 2008 Conference
The National Association of Social Workers and the Alaska Counseling Association are sponsoring a three day Conference, October 1-3 at the Egan Convention Center in Anchorage.
The theme is CREATING POSITIVE CHANGE.
Key note speakers include Dr. Jean Houston is internationally known for broadening historical, personal and perceptual horizons and inspiring people to become change makers. Her "Mystery School" and "Social Artistry" programs focus on us being the most important people who have ever lived because we are living in the most transitional time the world and humanity have ever known.

John Raven Mosher, M.A., L.M.H.C., T.E.P. and his Healing Circle Model, a contemporary application of the indigenous medicine wheel, will lead us sociometrically into the themes of our conference of creativity, positivity, and change. He will also present an afternoon workshop on using his Healing Circle Model as a way of understanding our's and our client's personal mythologies so that we can create different paths with positive outcomes. John was selected for the 2001 Innovators Award and the 2005 Neil Passariello Award (for distinguished contributions in the treatment of HIV/AIDS) by the American Society of Group Therapy and Psychodrama.)
