Research
Interests: Modeling hydrologic effects of
land-use changes; the connections between microclimate,
meso-climate and global climate change; the spatial
dimension of sustained-yield and sustainability; the
use of simulations for effective learning.
Current
Research Programs:
1) Modeling the effects of timber harvest and landscape
characteristics on stream flow,
2) Freezing and thawing of soils,
3) Planning and decision-making for forest management,
4) Simulation for effective learning
