Many ammenities are only open June 1 through August 31.

The Georgeson Botanical Garden (GBG) is located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus at the UAF Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. Entrance fee is $2.00 per person.
Tours offered:
Self Guided
Most tours of the Georgeson Botanical Garden are self-guided. Admission to the Garden is $2 per person. We encourage all tour drivers to inform visitors of this policy. Signs and brochures are located throughout the garden and in the small visitor's center. Many publications are free, some have a cost and are clearly marked.
Please pay in our gift shop between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday during the summer season. At other times of the day and year, please deposit fees in the admission box located just outside the garden gate.
With Tour Guide
We offer guided tours with our docents/staff. The price is $5.00 per person with a minimum of $75.00. These tours may be scheduled by calling (907) 474-6921, fax to 474-1841. or mail to Georgeson Botanical Garden, PO Box 757200, Fairbanks, AK 99775.
Tours scheduled before May 1 will receive a 20% discount and a free pass for the tour guide. Tours scheduled after May 1 will pay full price. After June 1, Please arrange payment in the visitor center gift shop, phone number 474-1944. There will be a $100 charge for cancelled tours. Late arrival of more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time will be considered a cancellation. Early arrival of more than 15 minutes is not possible. You must wait until the scheduled tour time if you arrive early.
Please inform your cliental that this is an experiment station. All plants are in experimental trials and data is being collected. Enjoy the garden but do not pick or harvest anything.
Your business may support the Georgeson Botanical Garden by becoming business member for a minimum annual fee of $100. Your support is acknowledged in the Garden, and you receive an annual update of Garden programs and events. Business members receive a 10% discount on all guided tours.
