Research Interests: Season extension through soil-warming and plasticulture techniques, Identification and/or development of potato varieties for the Alaska market, Management of high-value crops

Current Research Programs:
1) Potato variety trials and management optimization trials,
2) Soil quality enhancement using cover crops and/or compost addition,
3) Non-herbicide methods of weed control in potato,
4) Season extension of high value crops,
5) High Tunnels
