| "Sorry" |
By Timothy Mason
Directed by Abrah Fawvor |
"Sorry" by Timothy Mason, explores the conventions of finding love in the contemporary world. Two lonely New Yorkers Pat and Wayne coast through life in an uncaring and unloving world. It is no wonder that they should "find" each other. The short play delves into the odd nature of love, which we can all find a way to relate. Whether we are falling in love, avoiding love, or looking for love, we must all come to realize that love is in our life whether we want it or not, just like Pat and Wayne.

| "Come and Go Mad" |
By Frederic Brown
Directed by Carey-Taylor Seward |
One science Friday, the radio had featured a specialist of the duck-billed platypus. He spoke animatedly about all the eccentricities of the species. Then his voice became forlorn as he said that there is no data on the mating habits of the platypus. No one wants to fund research on this unprofitable species. He said our culture is so focused on things like politics that the platypus doesn't stand a chance of recognition. What is forgotten when we focus on the prevalent obsessions of our culture? What is there all along that we choose not to see? It is hard to articulate feelings and knowledge that are simply incongruous with the world you live in. It is complicated and isolating to remove yourself from the comfort of your patterns to seek the truth you know must be out there. Sometimes the truth is horrifying, nauseating, and unthinkable, but isn't it better to know?
