| "Lunch With Ginger" |
By Marsha Norman
Directed by Angela Brownfield |
| A short, lighthearted play about control in one's life. Norman's piece is an exercise, forcing us to reevaluate the way we communicate, the way we live. Watching the play, the audience is having lunch with Ginger, sharing her observation and walking with her as she chooses her path. |

| "Orphee" |
By Jean Cocteau
Directed by Rafaela Stacheter |
| An adaptation of the greek myth of Orpheus and Euridyce. When his wife dies, the poet Orpheus descends into the underworld to rescue her. Hades, god of the underworld, is moved by his plea, and grants his wish -- under the condition that Orpheus would not look at Euridyce until they left the underworld. When Orpheus broke the agreement and looked, his wife remained with the dead.
"Orphee" (1925) by Jean Cocteau is an adaptation of the myth of Orpheus and Euridyce and the commentary on his own private mythology as a modern descendent of the famous poet and composer Orpheus. With "Orphee," Jean Cocteau established his style of poetic drama, its language, and its wish to astound the audience as well as take them on a miraculous journey.
