Born of a proposed Dadaist dinner theatre performance called the New World Order Cabaret and named after an anatomical euphemism, the first Monkey Ball was produced by the Theatre Department itself rather than SDA, and occurred shortly after school started in the Fall semester. It was put together by former Department Coordinator Jason Chapman, and featured canned music by Jason and his co-DJ from the old KSUA show Dames On The Dial, along with live music by local band Little Lippi.
