Juneau lecture rescheduled

Michael Harris to present April 2

The Science for Alaska lecture scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th at 7 p.m. in Centennial Hall in Juneau has been cancelled due to flight delays.

University of Alaska Fairbanks researcher Michael Harris' lecture, "Sudden Infant Death Syndrome: Tragedy, Mystery and Optimism," has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 2nd at 7 p.m. in the Egan Lecture Hall at the University of Alaska Southeast campus.

Continuing education course for teachers

Earn credit for attending Science for Alaska 2009!

Since 1996, a continuing education course has been offered to teachers in conjunction with Science for Alaska. Current Topics in the Natural Sciences for Educators, ED F593, will be offered in 2009 through the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Teachers earn one continuing education credit upon completion of the course.
