Ways to Donate

There are many ways you can help the GBG.

We can always use your volunteer hours. There are many jobs to do and benefits for you as well as the GBG. Follow our links to the volunteer information pages.

You can make a memorial donation of cash. For information related to this option, see our donation link.

You can donate cash either to our Foundation account or to the Georgeson Botanical Garden Endowment account. What is the difference? The Foundation account is money we can use to build and grow right now. The Endowment account is building up funds to make sure we can build and grow forever. Mail your donation to Goergeson Botanical Garden, 757200, UAF, Fairbanks, AK 99775 and be sure and state which account it should go in Endowment or Foundation.

Who donates to the GBG? Well, every year University Park Elementary second graders donate to the GBG as part of their "Let's make a difference campaign", friends and relatives donate in memory of loved ones who have passed away, friends of the garden, Master Gardeners, UAF faculty and staff, and garden club members just to name a few. You will fit in with the crowd that supports the GBG just fine.
