Specific Laboratory Hazard Statements (SLHS)
Chemicals that are highlighted in yellow on the inventory list indicate that
special handling procedures are warranted due to their carcinogenic properties
or because they are labeled as acutely hazardous. EHS&RM’s goal is to
complete SLHS for all of the chemicals listed below so that departments can
add them to their Chemical Hygiene Plan. This is a slow process but check
back often for additional completed SLHSs.
