4. Create a Business Resumption Plan
UAF is not only a major international research center, but the prime center for higher learning in Alaska, and an employer of over 3,000 people. The responsibility for providing for students, employees, and affiliates clearly shows the need for UAF to develop a Business Resumption Plan. Fulfilling our fourth objective with such a plan will allow pre-incident planning to provide copies of business records, class transcripts, and degree verification to serve the needs of those aforementioned groups. This objective cannot be met without the participation of the Business Office, the Registrar, UAF Chancellor Marshall Lind, UAF Vice-Chancellor Frank Williams, and all the department heads, students, and staff who work to keep the university running.
