Randomly: Attending the University of Alaska back in the '70s was the adventure of a lifetime. My family and friends in the New York area truly thought that I was crazy. Memories that I could never forget: taking photographs of the northern lights after the barium rockets were used by the geophysics department; skiing to class and having to look both ways before crossing the dogsled trails; exploring ranger cabins deep in McKinley park only available to forest rangers whom I studied with, and exploring other areas of the most beautiful place called Alaska.
