Randomly: I'm diggin' life. Quite literally. Working as a soil scientist in Alaska is immensely rewarding. I've been able to travel, hike, and fly over much of the state and get paid to dig holes. My family and I love to work in the garden together, getting dirt under our fingernails and growing good food. In the winter, we ski. Getting my education in Alaska was the greatest move I could have made for finding a rewarding career in my hometown.
