Summer Housing for Family, Employee, Graduate and Non-traditional Students
Summer family housing is available on a limited basis to students enrolled in courses for credit at UAF during the summer sessions, or employees needing housing during the summer sessions. Although both part-time and full-time students are eligible for summer family housing, full-time students have priority. Full-time status is defined by the following minimums: three credits during Three-Week Sessions, six credits during Six-Week Session, twelve credits over the course of the summer.
Apartments come fully furnished, and include cable and ethernet connections, local phone service (you provide the phone), electricity and laundry facilities. Residents provide their own linens, cookware, dishes and utensils. All residential facilities are smoke and pet free. Students accompanied by a spouse must provide a marriage certificate. Only immediate family members may reside with the enrolled student or staff member.
