Room Selection

Room Selection is the process of selecting a room for the next school year. There are two ways to select a room for Fall 2008-Spring 2009. You either homestead your current room, if you are eligible, or select another room in person at the Hess Rec Center by turning in completed 2008-09 Housing and Dining Services Agreements (if applicable).  Information about Homesteading and Room Selection are detailed in the booklet.

Rooms that are not homesteaded for 2008-09 will be available for Room Selection April 12, 2008. Room Selection is only one day this year!  The time at which you may begin Room Selection depends on your current class standing. Room Selection is first-come, first-served. The schedule is detailed in the booklet.

If you are not able to come to Room Selection during your time slot, you may send a “proxy” in your place. A proxy is a person that can hold a room for you without you being present. Proxy instructions and a proxy form are included in the booklet.

If you live with us now, you do not need any money to select a room for next year. Your deposit currently on file guarantees your space in housing and all fees for room and board are due with your Fall 2008 fees by September 12, 2008.

Golden Tickets allow you to access the front of the line for your selected Room Selection time in order to be the first in the door!  Choose to enter a drawing* for a Golden Ticket to the Groups of 4+ OR for a Golden Ticket to the time slot you are eligible to select within.
  *Drawing is campus wide.  Winners will be notified via email and phone no later than 5pm April 3.
