Living On Campus

Hess Rec Center

Living on campus is an important part of the university experience, giving you the opportunity to meet new people, experience new ideas and develop important study habits and social skills.

UAF provides services to all housing residents, including telephone, cable, computing, maintenance, and dining. Mail services are available on campus, and more information is available through the UAF Post Office. Some services are required of certain residents, such as the dining services for single students, but all make living on campus a great option! In addition, living in a campus community is convenient and enjoyable; you are just steps away from classes, computer labs, recreation and new friends. For residents with meal plans, there is always a hot meal waiting.

Residents can participate in great programs and events, right here on campus! Comedians, concerts, lan-parties, movies and dances are a convenient source of entertainment.

UAF provides housing to students with disabilities. For information about eligibility, visit the Disability Services website at
