The job of a Resident Assistant is an important job and one of the most rewarding leadership positions that you can have while you are working on your education here at UAF. This experience will provide you with the opportunity to meet many new people, make a difference in the lives of others, and hone your skills for the future. The Resident Assistant position is one that will challenge, inspire, and motivate you in more ways than you can imagine!
The application process is designed to ensure that we find the best candidates for the position, as well as to give you an opportunity to make sure the Resident Assistant position is a good fit for you. The Resident Assistant position is a student employee position both the fall and spring semesters. Fall RA training begins in mid-August and spring RA training begins one week before classes resume in January. Please take these dates into consideration when applying for the position.
Please note: We are currently accepting applications for Resident Assistants for the 2012-2013 academic year. To apply for the position, you must apply online at UAK Jobs and complete the RA application packet. The position closes at 5:00pm on April 17, 2012.
