Future
Residents
The
decision to live on campus is one of the most important ones you
will make during your college career. Studies have shown that
students who live on campus tend to do better in school and are
more likely to finish their degrees.
The
communities you will live in not only provide easy access to classes,
the library and your professors, but also provide computer connections,
cable television hookups and local phone service from the privacy
of your own room. You will also have the opportunity to attend
a number of programs and activities exclusively for campus residents.
Another
factor, one that is usually overlooked, is that you will
be residing in a community with other students. These people
will be experiencing the same things you are. They will be taking
the same classes, dealing with the same issues, and sharing
similar interests.
